Default Odd Question, is there a light for the the auto shifter?

Wife and I just bought the T/A and the auto shifter selection doesn't light up, is it suppose to or do I have to wire up a light in there and make it illuminate?

The numbers and letters should light up. I believe they take the weencie little bulbs that are say, in the door handle area to light it up. Probably 2, I think 1 of mine is out as well.

I honestly think mine takes 2 bulbs. The back is pretty dim. Like it would have one in the back and front. Maybe it's mislodged *shrug*

It was, I had to wrap some tape around the fitting to make it stay put. There was too much of a gap for it to just twist and snap

I just went to check mine because it wasnt lighting up. The bulb still worked it just was out of its fitting. I put it back in twisted it and now it works fine as best I can tell from the daylight anyways.

Oh and it was just one bulb.
