Default Pinion-Nut Torque with Solid Spacer?

What is the recommended torque for the pinion nut when using a solid spacer in a 12-bolt?

That is right, but you still should shim it for the rotational preload. I usually go 25 in/lbs for new bearings.

yeah, 25-30 inch pounds of preload with new bearings. The ratech pinion spacer I got said 125 ft/lbs for torque on the nut. Just make sure you have it shimmed right before you torque her down. Don't want to damage the bearings by torqueing it down with too few shims!
