Default Help build my car....(kind of long)

im having a bit of trouble deciding which route to go with my car. now that i have the money to build one, i cant decide what to do, so the car still sits bone stock for two months now. so i cant imagine a better place for suggestions than here. so i guess i should tell what i would like the car to do.
this will ONLY be a weekend car, it is not a daily driver.
the weather here gets really nasty in summer, 110+.
i wont lie, the racing my cars have seen are street races, we dont have a track nowhere near and the street racing scene right across the border is big, so everyone from here goes over there. okay...so my biggest concerns are the heat AND whenever crossing the border u have to wait in line for usually 30mins and above, so i dont know if any type of FI would damage the engine for sitting at idle for sometimes an hour.
h/c.....nitrous.....FI.........??????

I would do all the bolt ons, then add a Trex cam, and a 200 shot of the gas when you need it.
