Going nuts finding replacement Zerk fittings
I have Hotchkis LCA's and two of the grease nipple fittings have corroded a bit giving me a hard time greasing them up.
I want to replace them but have not found anyplace locally that stocks these fittings. They are 6mm I believe with an elongated thread, but every auto store only carries standard 6 mm with the short thread.
Hotchkis failed to respond to my e-mails all last week, I'll try calling them this Monday but for some simple little grease fittings it's getting on my nerves. I had an easier time finding a near mint low mielage cheap LS1 than I have had looking for these things.

Its probably 1/16 NPT tapered thread.
If you live near auto zone go by there. Behind the counter they should have a metal box with all the different sizes. Problem is you will have to find the one knowledgeable employee thats working at the time because the idiot workers will tell you they are all on isle XX. Ask for the manager. So far I've never run across an auto zone that didn't have the set behind the counter (when I needed a fitting) also you can purchase just the number you wish and not a whole boxed set, you just have to get past that idiot employee gaze they give you when they think your off your rocker.

Hmmm, thats a new one to me. I've never seen a grease fitting that had a non-tapered thread. Everyone I've ever seen had a tapered NPT thread.
I wonder how they expect the 1/4" - 28 thread to seal against the pressure.
