TSP 5.3L heads/233 239 cam Installed
I finally finished my cam and heads install friday, and I am quite pleased with the results.
Mods include the TSP 233/239 cam, TSP 5.3L stg. 2.5 heads, LS7 clutch, Kooks LTs/ORY, and Hooker cat back.
I really dont want to rev past 5k for about a week just to make sure everything settles in, but I did rev to 6k twice and the power was great. I'm tuning with HP tuners so it may take a while to get everything totally diled in, but the base tune we loaded is pretty good.
I dont really plan to dyno the car for a while unless an opportunity comes around, but if I do get the car tuned professionally it will be on the dyno anyway.
Overall, the install was good, the motor runs great, and the driveability is awesome. Thanks to all the guys at TSP for great products and service! I highly recommend calling them up if you are interested in modifying your car.
**edit**
I did a few data runs with hp tuners today. The car is running really well even though a bunch of tuning is still needed. I did a 3rd gear 70-100 mph pull on level ground in 4.0 seconds which is just a tad higher than I hoped.
Also, I did get a chance to race an ls1 gto. He hit the gas first each time, but I would quickly pass and pull away from him hard.
I'm hoping for 450 rwhp and ~400 lb/ft so hopefully it'll be there when I do get around to dynoing the car.
Any estimates on power/comments questions on the car?

Sounds like a good setup....I'm interested in seeing what it did, being that I just bolted a set of those on my car about a week ago.
Haven't hit the dyno yet, so I'm not sure what it's making....

If I go 385 with this after making 430 with the old setup, I'll send them back! Haha...

My cam is 113 and we installed it +2 degrees. Its an M6 so i'm hoping for about 450 rwhp and 400 torque with a finished tune. The car drives really smooth considering the "large" cam and tune. Pulls HARD from 4-6500 rpms.

A few more, a few less, I'll be happy either way...
