GMMG or Basani true duals?

GMMG or Basani true duals? which is louder? (decibel levels would be greatly appreciate) also, which gives the most power? and where can i buy the Basani kit?

I have the Bassani with the large 10" muffler, which is suposed to be the quieter of the two they offer. It's louder than I'd like it, but prolly because my car has gutted cat's, LT's, and H/C. (Keep in mind that I like my street cars quieter than most people. I'm an old fart.)
BTW, IIRC Futral sells Bassani...or was it Vinci? I think it was Vinci lol.

Power peak gain is minimal true duals over the Y pipe set up like GMMG but someone from FL (Mr. 223, I think his U/N) dynoed his car w/ borla and bassani and has posted the difference between the two. IMO, true duals > Y pipe set up on sound, torque, and power.

You can get a Magnaflow for example is it made well? Yes it is. Does it add HP? Yes it does.
Someone might love the tone of a 300 buck Hooker setup way more then a 1300 dollar crazy custom dual job.
To me and others GMMG is just not the best tone out there.
As said before, peak gains near same, gmmg will be louder.

I'm sure the Bassani setup fits just fine...I would expect nothing less from a pre-fab setup. However, if you want to mate it with LTs (and really what's the point of duals without LTs?), it's going to cost just as much as a good y-type catback setup.

And fabbing the bassani to fit headers is a piece of cake. Any competent exhaust shop can do it in just a few moments, with no issues.

With the Bassani True Duals, when you are switch to the headers you will save $$$ by not having to purchase the Y-Pipe. However, You will need a set of 3 to 2 1/2 inch reducers. I used the flowmaster reducers. They were about $50 a set.
My car has the Bassani True Duals with Hooker LT Headers (no cats) and it is very loud at WOT. I wouldn't want it any louder.
If you don't have headers, either exhaust would be a nice sounding setup.
