How do you adjust the Tial 50mm BOV. We want to make it tighter. Do you just install shims?

Yes, you can add shims (washers) or change the spring. I pull 21" merc at hot idle so I got the 11psi spring. It would not snap open under low boost pulls and I'd get the rattle snake sound out of the turbo. I cut the spring about 1 and 3/4 coils up and put one hardend washer in the bottom. Now at hot idle I can just see the brown O-ring. Any throttle application and its fully shut and sealed.
