Default L92 Heads on LS1

Found a good deal on some L92 heads, how well would they work on my new motor in my 2000 Z28, I am building a 6.0 from a LQ4 block. also how would they compair to a set of after market heads such as Patriot or MTI.

Default L92 heads on a 4" bore

They will fit. You need at least a 4" bore. Some of the vendors have great deals on ported L92 heads.

The Stock L92 heads are out flowing alot of aftermarket heads. So if ur on a budget ull be fine with a stock set of l92 heads.

ive been hearing the flow #'s are great but the velocity is down compared to good ls1 heads so performance is up but not as much as people have been expecting.
