Default gen 3 heads

what is the difference between 6.0 heads and z06 heads, i know they are lower compression --- what are the runner lenghts, and is it worth porting a 6.0 head or is it better to get the z06 head
thanks

the 317 heads from the 6.0l have the same ports as the zo6, but the comb chamber is larger 72cc (317) versus 60 something cc (zo6) thats the reason for the comp ratio difference. zo6 also had stronger springs and i believe sodium filled exh valves. valve sizes are the same. try the search and check the stickies, or pm me tonight and i can look some more in the gm book.
most people use the 317 heads for forced induction and the others for natural induction and premium gas
