ok i found a lt1 6spd setup today for 800 dollars for everything...but i have a ls1 98z...i read to change the input shaft and front plate...how hard of a job is that?? will the clutch pedals out of a lt1 car work in my ls1 car???if i can make it work for a reasonable price i will try to get it.... any help would greatly be appreciated.....

Just get an LS1 T56. By the time you buy the parts and mess with it you'd be better off. I can tell you from experience the input will run you around $300 alone, don't know about the front plate but I'm sure that's not cheap.
