Default Wide Tires?

Who makes a wide tire (300ish) that is good for a daily driver and rain?

The only two places that i know make them are Nitto (555r) and MT

MT is out right from the get go because i need a decent tread life...

MT is out of the question if you're dealing with rain. BFG's are decent in the rain for the first couple thousand miles then go to complete and utter crap (at least my 255/50/16's were like that).

Nitto's would be best suited for the rain if you're strictly looking for a DR.

to be honest it doesnt even need to be a drag radial, i just want a decent tire that is 300 or so in width with a high speed rating

GS-D3s are a great tire for wet/dry performance but they are pricey

If your looking for something cheap then I'd go with the 315 Sumitomos but if your wanting more performance then I'd go more for a few of the others listed, T/A KD, GS-D3s or 555R's.
