are you planning on tuning it yourself? Mail order tune? Professional dyno tune?

I have no idea what ever is the best prob not my self because I do not know anything about tuning I would like to have it dyno tuned. This guy over here where I live that does tuning wants to do a 3 bar tune, or he said If I get a FMU to do a regular MAF tune. I see other sts guys just do a MAF tune without fmu I asked the local tuner about that and he said its not safe becasue the computer doesnt know the motor is being boosted. I just do not know what to do

Find a tuner that you trust & take his advice..there are a few schools of thought when it comes to tuning FI.

If you don't trust your current tuner look here https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning/424857-looking-local-tuner-seriously-read-me-before-asking.html for more options

Any tuner that tells you to run a FMU, you should RUN away from, don't walk, but RUN.

FMU's are bandaids, and there is NO reason to use one on a LSX based f-car.

The MAF/SD setup is a constant battle, so choose what your tuner wants to use. Personally, I don't see the logic in removing a sensor that tells airflow, but that's my $0.02

The accepted best option is a Custom 2bar SD tune. Better control of fueling over the entire range. MAF will max out before 512g/sec which I understand is around 450rwhp.

it means you replace your stock map sensor which reads up to atmospheric pressure with a 2 bar sensor which will read up to roughly 14.5psi of boost...you then ditch the maf & remap your volumetric efficiency table to do your fueling for idle, part throttle & wot basically.

do you adjust WOT fueling from the VE tables only or is the PE table multiplier still working with SD?

thanks

PE still works, its just more accurate now you have a larger VE it can relate to.
Without the 2bar VE you have nothing for PE to calculate against, especially when your maf is now out of range. You have to just throw a load of fuel in and hope its ok.
