So i bought an OBD1 PCM....how do i tell if its for an M6 or A4?

So i bought an OBD1 PCM....how do i tell if its for an M6 or A4?

Well i did the OBD1 conversion and i never thought to ask if it was an M6 PCM. Does it matter? Everything plugged up just fine.

same part number, the difference is in the tune. I asume the only issue would be the speedo being of because the sensors teeth count is different.

The PCM's are exactly the same. The only difference is the program. As long as you have the M6 program, you're fine.

they both are excatly the same the difference is in the flash program inside the PCM. youll have to read the PCM and find out.

will the email tune from ION want the VIN of my car or the PCM's OBD1 VIN?
