Default ls6 intake w/injectors

my buddys got a friend who has a z06 hes taking the intake off of he wants 400 bux with fuel rails and injectors is it worth it being i have 26lb and there only 28s?

I would say WITH fuel rails and injectors its worth it just because an LS6 intake alone will cost you 350+ shipped on here, but I think you will need to get a tune even with the 28 lb-ers so keep that in mind. If you were going to do that and plan on doing a cam swap sometime in the future, you might want to get injectors also and just knock both out at the same time. But, thats me.

Not until you start getting twords 400ish RWHP. I'm somewhere around 380ish right now and my 26 lb's are just about at their limit. So, 28 lbs wont get you much higher. I'm moving up to 36 lbs so I wont have to worry about anything for a little while at least...

You'd need tuning work as Bobo said if you put those 28's in there, the car would run rich without it. Give him $300 for the manifold and tell him to keep the rails.

You think that is bad....try going from 26 to 42 untuned.
