Default Ceramic coating questions – any good shops?

I want to ceramic coat my valve covers and waater pump a deep red. I would powder coat, but I know that requires the parts to be baked at 400 degrees and I have read that the water pump bearings can’t handle that. Will ceramic coating work and last a long time? Any places you’d recommend that can do it in red? I don’t want to go the parts store ceramic spray paint route because I don’t want to screw it up and have the paint flaking off 6 months from now.

I put this in FI because I know you guys probably use ceramic coatings under the hood more than anyone else on the forum.

Thanks, -Dave

Ceramic coating is baked at a signifigantly higher temperature than powdercoat.

You could smooth out the parts with sandpeper and paint them with automotive base/clear....

look up "lo ko coatings" its near chicgao, if not in chicago. Tons of local guys use them and are very happy with them. Much higher quality then anything you get on a header form a major manufacturer.

Nothing but great things from these guys. They do great work and they are very fair as far as pricing goes.
