98 maf is bigger than 99

Default 98 maf is bigger than 99

I didnt know that the 98 MAF are a little bit bigger than 99...... My MAF whent bad so i purchased one of off a 99 trans am and it was a smaller.....Both are stock MAF'S too...

my 98 went bad replacedc it with a 00 c5 meter and they were the same.

It's not. All 98-02 F-body MAFs are the same part #. If your old one was bigger, then someone may have previously put a 85mm MAF on it, but it was not stock.

+1 on that or somone sold him an s-10 meter they are a tad smaller
