Hi, what size are the bulbs in the gauge cluster and how do you get to them?

I have no idea what size they are but my advice is to take them out and go to advance or auto zone and they could hook you up with the right one.

Not sure if you got this figured out but the gauge cluster uses 194 bulbs not LEDs. However it is possibel to replace the stock bulbs with leds but our Pontiac gauge overlays have a red film on them so changing the color is a little more complicated than just changing the bulb color.
Also, 1/4 turn to remove, no need to break out the soldering iron

hey there captain i am aware of what a 194 bulb is mine dont have 194s. if you pull the rear cover on my cluster and there is no removable bulb sockets and acordinging to what i have seen in camaros they are the same way too it may depend on whatr year it is tho

I have no idea about other years but on 99s there are 5 194 bulbs that light the gauges and are held in place by 1/4 turn fasteners. There are 3 more bulbs, one each for the turn signals and one for the high beam indicator for a total of 8 bulbs. The leds that are behind the gauges are for the Idiot lights. Atleast this is how my 99 is set up and I'm sure there are some differences between the years.
