DIY K-Frame - Upper & Lower A-Arms???
anyone tackle this task?
i find it difficult to pay someone so much to put in some suspension parts...
whats reasonable ammount of time to pay if so - i know the k-frame shows book time of about 5 hours & upper & lower a-arms show 5 too - with overlap i was figuring 6 hours total to complete by a professional shop
if anyone has braved it how long & what did it take...

i have done it a couple of times
lowercontrol arms should be included in the k member price
they only thing they should charger extra for is the upper a arms and front wheel alignment. lower a arms and stearing rack would be considered double dipping.

WELL THE KEY IS TO SUPPORT THE ENGINE.
if you don have a holding fixture that goes on the strut towers and supports the engine then you will have to have a jack 2x4's and a bunch of jack stands. key is having 4 jack stands all the way up to support the body of the car. then use th jack and 2x4's to support the engine and then start unbolting the k member
