You'd get a better response in the Appearance & Detailing section:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing-18/
There have been a bunch of threads in there on this same topic in the last couple of months alone. A lot of people like the Arizen and Mad Racing seats which are a good price and can be found on their websites and ebay.

Here are a few threads:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...highlight=seat

Some have said that they are a little on the narrow side which is fine unless you are on the wide side (I am so I'm concerned about how they fit).

I like my seats, but I really like the GTO seats, specailly the red leather ones! Not sure how they would look in a Camaro, though. Also, my bolster is damn near starting to tear.

You have a 98 camaro. Not all seats are the same for the 4th Gen.

And yes, I would trade my seats (well, whole interior) for a GTOs in a heartbeat.

Looks good. I didn't think the leather looked bad at all.? Mine seem to be fine to me. A new set of seats will cost quite a bit. If it makes you feel better my buddy got a bmw with the "basic leather" and it looked like crap too.

My left side, like my left butt cheek and left thigh ARE NOT SUPPORTED WHATSOEVER. I feel like I'm about to slide off the seat when cornering at pretty much any speed. I always have to slide my butt to the right to stay in the seat.

Anyone have this same problem? Sorry but I just got back from running some errands in town and needed to vent my frustration. I can't take it anymore! I have to get some better seats if I going to keep this car. What do yall recommend?

I drive my car everyday, it's my only car so I want them to be:
-Corfortable on long road trips
-Keep me supported in turns, even at high speeds
-Look cool & sporty

I always liked the look of Sparco seats and 4 point harnesses, but the price is pretty high and also I have never sat in one so I don't know how comfortable they are. Also, I was thinking about maybe a corvette seat, but I don't know if they fit our cars? I like the new GTO seats but I have heard they won't fit in our cars... Please guys, I need some advice!
your 98 seats are suppoesd to be grey.

Yes those are Firebird only seats, but will go in camaro's. I have T/A seats in my SS, they have the same electrical connections.

Peace,
Craig.

Thanks, are the side bolsters taller and more supportive than the camaro seats? Also, are they darker in color? Is the headrest the same as the camaro seats? I'm might just get some of these instead.

Will any vette seats fit in my car?

Thanks,
Nick

1997-1999 had a grey interior.
2000+ had an ebony interior. from what i have seen the side bolsters are a little more supportave, but minimial. your best bet would be to buy some recaros or somthing of that nature.

Understatement of the year! The T/A seats are about 110% more side support, camaro seats feel like a bench seat compared to these. I guess you don't have much "seat-time" in these seats.
Also besides two types of the lumbar (sides & lower back) support the T/A's have, the camaro's have zero headrest.
T/A seats are very sought after and hard to come by, and thats not for fun to throw money away or bored to put them into camaro's. I'm not trying to be bais, but I have had both and I (as well as alot of members here) prefer the T/A seats.

Aftermarket seats are nice, but they come with a huge price tag if optioned with leather, lumbar (which is mostly manual-not electrical), and you have to buy frame rails.

Peace,
Craig.

have to agree, TA seats are pretty good, if not very good, the camaro on the other hand leaves something to be desired in side to side support, but they arent all that bad. For day to day and reasonably aggressive driving they do ok, but the TA seats would be a def. upgrade.....if ya got tha $bling$

Trans Am seats OWN Camaro seats in terms of comfort.
