Default Which shock with the eibach springs?

Can someone reccomend a good shock for the pro kit
Can someone reccomend a good shock for the sport kit

I want cornering, handling and will sacrifice ride quality to a degree, drag racing is my last concern...

I can personally recommend Sam Strano's revalved Bilsteins! I just replaced my stock decarbons with the revalves and the car is a new machine! By the way I have the Prokit. I love driving it now in the bumpy streets in my town.

Do you mean the sportline springs? They are really low and soft in the front. I wouldn't get them. The prokit is a firmer 400lb front spring and works well with it's lowering height.

On shocks, see my post here:

Skip the sportlines - they are NOT a performance spring. Prokit + Koni's will make for a nice street setup IMO.

Get away? Revalves are done for cases like this, where someone has springs.... We change the valving to deal with the springs. Or you can run Koni's.

BTW, we also sell springs (Eibach among them) too. And PHB's, and an adjustable one would be wise given the drop of those springs--so you re-center your axle, not to mention it keeps the axle better located, which gives better feel and stability too.

Yeah, even the Prokit with regular Bilsteins are good. Sam can take the front shocks and revalve them to your specific wants and needs. He's that familiar with them.

I have the Strano revalved Bilsteins with the Eibach Pro-kit. The handling is way better than stock but the rear end sits a little low with the springs in the back. If I were to do it again I would get the Koni SA shocks with the Strano springs.

A common way to fix the low Eibach rear springs is to add a metal twist in spacer. They will lift the ride height a little and increase the spring rate. Both of which those springs need.

Most autoparts stores carry them. The aluminum ones work best, but the rubber ones will also do, but you have to use more of them as they compress more easily.

You just lift the back of the car and let the spring stretch out, slip them into place 180* apart from each other and on the same coil and then lower the car. The tension keeps them in place.

Those are a band-aid that take working travel from the spring. Not a replacement for a correct spring.

about 1.2" or so. Most cars end up about 26" front, 26-3/4" rear ground to fender height on stock diameter tires. Not all cars are the same, and I'm not going to guarantee exactly that height, but we've been very consistant.

As long as the coils don't bind, there really is no down side. I've been running them for over 2 years now.
