Default Gm847 Tune

Im picking up my car tommorrow after getting the gm847 cam done.....So now I need a TUNE! so what tune should I do? dyno tune,mail-order tune?what do I need to do a mail order tune?and where can I buy a mail order tune?

with your mods being not to serious i would go with a mail in tune, but if you want a really good tune then go with a dynotune, it all depends on how much you want to pay

how much is a mail in tune???which is the best mail in tune I can get and how does a mail in tune work?

im also putting bigger injectors in and i was wondering if these would fit on my lt1

With mail order tunes, you just have to becareful the tune isnt so rich to where u wash the rings. I think i might be running into that problem since i did the H/C because i checked the oil the other day, and it looks real clean, but it smells alittle gassy. Im going to get it dyno tuned by Bryan Herter at PCMForLess this comming Thursday. So my vote is a dyno tune.

right now my mind is on a mail order tune from pcmforless......but im waiting to get some bigger injectors

yea there is nothing wrong with a mail order tune, just keep and eye on your oil. you dont want to ruin ur bearings.

36 lb injectors may be to big for what your doing, i would go with 30 lb injectors, your better off

so how does the pcmforless mail tune work?So i just send them my computer/pcm they tune it , I get it back and just plug it back in?

I was running 38lb injectors when i had my 847 cam, you can never go to big on the fuel side of things it can easily be tuned for them and when you run the bigger injectors it allows for room to grow.

I also had a tune from Madz28 he did a awsome job over the so called "Dyno tune" I recieved from a speed shop!!
