Default AR Rebel Questions....

First do I need to run 18' in the rear? It seems that the offset would be better with 18's....I would rather go 17's all around but will do 18's in the rear if I need....

Also what is the cheapest place to find the black ones? The cheapest place I can find is Ebay....if anyone knows a better place PLEASE let me know!!!

ALSO if anyone has these rims post some pics up and the sizes THANKS!!!!

ebay is almost always going to be the cheapest. you might want to check with tomz... he sells AR and i'm sure he can get them.

there are few people on here with them so it's tough to get info... i learned that the hard way too a while back. i do remember seeing a red z28 w/ black ones though, so keep trying.

hmmmm Yeah I just need to know if I can run 17s on the rear being lowered....I dont want to buy the wrong size...

I would first go with 18/9s and 18/10s out back like I do. I bought the 17/9s all around and they stuck out about 1/2" to 1" past my fenders! I have the Sportlines all around and with the 17s, they rubbed dangerously! Here's some pictures. Discount Tire is the best price if you want drive up service 6 days a week if you know what I mean. Later

On my 2000 SS, they stuck out about 1". I got lucky and was able to returned the four with a restocking fee of 10.00 a wheel. I got solid crome valve stems and crome lugs out of it. I then shortly after bought the 18s and I'm very happy that I did. Later

intresting....I dont understand why the 17s would stick out tho......isnt the offset the distance between one hole and the next??

no, that's the bolt pattern. i think there's a sticky at the top of the wheels section that explains offset... i'm too close to asleep to try to do it now

ooo I understand now...the offset is way off....I did a search and a couple of people seem to have 17x9s in the front and 18x10s in the rear which is what I want to do....Hmmm

^^yea i want to do that too with the rebels.I was thinking of 17x9s in the front and 18x10's in the rear, how would that look?

i think the 17's weight about 27lb.
