white gauge overlays
i really want to get some white overlays for my gauge cluster. i love the macewen ones and know a lot of people have them, but i cant justify spending like $100 for a bunch of stickers. recently i came across ones that look almost identical to the macewens but are 1/4 of the price. they're from a company called duranged designs (aka whitefacegauges.net). i was wondering if anyone has these and if so how did you like them? i uploaded 2 pictures of them below. they look pretty good to me.

I've seen those on eBay, and I believe they have come for discussion before. Remember, you get what you pay for. If you look at the gauges, you will see the bottom of the RPM and speedometer overlays are cut straight across. This eliminates the need for "cutouts" for the turn signal indicators. However, if used with the t/a gauge bezel, then it will look outplace, and rather to generic (to me). Take another look at the MacEwens, and notice how they are not cut across on the bottom. When used with the t/a bezel, they will fill the entire section, looking much more clean. But, maybe you will not use the t/a gauge bezel, and maybe you do not care about the slight difference in the design; just something to consider!

just make sure you end up with the right ones. i had a kid ask me to put a set on his gf's 95 v6 and he brought 99-02 v8 overlays from ebay
they look pretty decent, BUT you always get what you pay for.

good point about the bezel obsession, i never woulda noticed that. i actually was planning on trying to find a cheap used ta bezel and putting that in eventually. i can see how it may look messed up though. i also just noticed that the other gauge overlays (oil, batt, etc) dont have the icons on them. i cant remember if my car has the icons on the gauges directly or off to the side like the v6 gauge in their pics. but either way, adding the bezel would definately cover them up. now i'm not so sure about this. i'd really love the macewens but theres no way i can justify spending over $100 on just a bunch of stickers.
