should there be a bearing behind the cam gear???

Default should there be a bearing behind the cam gear???

just finished doing my cam install and degreeing it and I was wondering if there should be a torrington bearing behind the cam gear, or does it just ride the back of the thrust plate? its been so long since I tore it down I dont remember.

No bearing, just the retainer plate.

Agree, the stock timing gear does NOT have a bearing.
