fuel rail covers
i want to get fuel rail covers but what do u think i should do. get costume made ones or just red corvette's. and i have ceramic coated LT headers will these covers make my engine run hotter? i do live in florida.

the FRCs won't do anything but make the motor look pretty when you pop the hood. plus, if you get corvette ones you're going to have to cut one of the sides to fit flush. i, personally, would get ones customized to my car. like instead of saying corvette it'd say trans am. you can get them here...

it is a complete ls6 from top to bottom except porting and the cam and internals. do i still need to trim anything? if i !wire looms ill have nitrous electrical wires everywere. trust me it looks alot better with them but i might switch to black once the red fades. lol

they're saying get rid of the RED wire looms because they're tacky. having to cut the frc's is not because of what engine you have, it's because of its fitment in the fbody engine compartment... you'll have to cut them

good luck, i allready tried to get some templates.
here is what i ended up with, but it is different from car to car.
passanger side:
driver's side:
heres another pic of the passanger side, i used the corvette letters for reference.
where the cut loops back in in the back, is where the big wad of wires that comes out of the pcm sits. some people dont seem to cut that much out, but it fit perfect for me.
i didnt have to cut anything out of the back of the drier's side. i had the single slot style, so i cut my own second slot on the driver side cover. here are some finished pics, all filled, sanded and painted..
