Default Change wires in the ecm connectors

I want to change some wires in the ecm connectors to be able to control electric fans. The harness is from a 05 suburban with mechanical fan and I'm going to use a th400 so I have some wires left over .
The problem is that I don't know how to get the blue and green connectors apart. Can someone explain how to do it?

The part that is colored comes off, little clips each end, then you unlock pen clip and remove pin, its pretty easy

Removing the colored part was easy when i found little clips.
How do you remove the grey cover on the back of the connector?
I've tried to push in the 2 clips at each end of the grey covers but it wont come loose. Are there any clips that I've not found?

I went to look at mine and i have already removed the gray part on back, If my memory is correct it clips around the bolt also, i looked at mine and you can see where it clips on the edges. You may have push clips and pull hard should pop off.

The grey part has clips, but they are difficult to remove. The best way I have found is to push the tabs in toward the center and then pry up right next to the tabs with a small screwdriver. Even after you get the tab to unclip they are still very tight as they slide out of the metal part of the connector.
