Exclamation Help with Identification of heads

Hey everyone,

I was looking at a trans am today and the dealer told me that it might have different heads than what came stock. The car was fairly highly modified so he might be accurate. Anyway, the only marking on the head I could see was a casting number of 241 on the passenger side head facing the front of the car. Is this something that would be on the stock head? I didn't have a magnet with me so I wasnt able to check to see if they were aluminum. Thanks for your help! Also, is there anything else I should be looking for to see if they are stock? Thanks again for looking

241 are stock cast heads from 01-02, and i think maybe even a few 00's had them too.

There only about a 1% chance a LS1 car would have iron heads on it by the way.
