Default Sold the Z28...got a GTO...

Well..I recently sold my 2001 Z28.. (pictured below)

And I got a 2005 GTO A4.. It has 17k miles on it and I think I got a pretty good deal at $20k. The day I got it I took it to a local dyno day and put down 330rwhp. That's the factory stock tune and the air fuel was under 11.8 down to 11.3. The tuner said I should gain around 15-20rwhp with a tune alone.

You got a damn good deal. How does it compare to your camaro? Have any regrets?

Very nice. Your camaro looked sweet aswell.

Any plans for new wheel/tire combo to spice up the goat?

Too bad you couldn't keep both. You had a very sharp looking Z28.

The GTO looks nice too, I like the '05+ hood and exhaust. And you can't go wrong with silver. But IMO all the goats need a wheel change to really look their best. Some CCW 505As would make that GTO look badass.

They are certainly nice, but that rear quarter drives me insane, it is HUGE and tall, you could fit another door back there. They are great cars though, I know of a TT 05 here that made 540 RWHP on a stock LS2.

Rims are fine for now. Get the performance first. Tire upgrade headers, intake, catback and tranny cooler then stall it then a good tune. should make the car alot more fun to drive!

Aww, but my Grand Am Cavalier mutt is still pretty quick stock

But I think you guys are right...the stock wheels aren't THAT bad... I'll be looking around for some performance parts...

No kidding, the first time I backed mine up all I could think was what the hell? You just flat out can't see back out of the car, especially with the spoiler placement. I love the hell out of it though. Congrats on your new purchase!

Yep, Cavalier on steroids. That's why the car has been sold in other countries under a different name since 1996 with solid roots in racing.
