Default Finally fired the 6.0!

Had some time today and got the 6.0 LQ4 running in my 81z. I need to do some carb work and fix some minor bugs and wire the alt. and fans but it fired right up and oil pressure was 50 psi at idle. I was kind of nervous as I rebuilt this motor myself. Here are some pics.

SWEET!!!

I might be having a few questions for you, as I am about to get a 6.0L project goin' for my '73 Camaro.

Two intial Q's:

1) What trans are you runnin'?
2) What set-up are you running on the front of the engine (water pump, pulleys, etc? From a LS1?)

Congrats on the install!

I guess it all depends on the engine mount adapters you use. I used S&P adapters with the stock 81 clamshells and there are no clearance problems.
