noobie with a silver 02 Z28, what should I add?
I am picking up my silver 02 Z28 T Top car tomorrow and I want to do something to set it apart for all the schmucks with stock looking Z's running around town.
I'm thinking some kind of hockey stripe, maybe retro emblems, SLP bowtie grille, and maybe a Berger panel.
where do you get the Berger panel and what are my other choices for stripes/graphics on this car.
I really really don't want SS stripes on it....just don't like the idea.
eventually an SS rear spoiler will show up on the back and black halo headlights are in my near future also.
SHOW ME THOSE SILVER Z PICS!

as far as the bark and no bite situation....this car is gonna be a daily driver, if someone around town wants to talk smack with me, I'll just go home and get the GTO or my 11 second GN. I'm just looking for something to make the car look better than the next guys stock Z.

It's okay, I won't tell anyone about this one either
Clear corners, lowered and 18s are a good suggestion

berger panel
retro style badges
anthracite TTM's/TT2's (if you have the money, go with Fikse/CCW/HRE)
LOWER IT
SS spoiler
get rid of exhaust tips (TD's dumped)
window tint
black/chrome halos
that is exactly how i would want my car if i had a silver z28

thanks for some direction guys....
the halo's, berger panel, retro badges, and tint are all must haves which will be done before summer is over.
chrome or black Z06 wheels will come later
what lowering springs do you guys think would work best? eventually I may do LTs so I don't want it too low.

I will be getting a Silver SS soon and I will be doing some of the same appearance mods first. I just came out of a 500rwhp Mustang, so speed can wait a minute, I want to make it look good like you. I will be doing black halos/corners, berger panel, painted scoop(black), grille delete, lowered on some black TTII's. If I can find some I will put export tails on as well. Congrats on your purchase, silver FTW!

I have a silver Z, and some of my opinions go against what a lot of guys here think. I was in a similar situation, in that I didn't want my Camaro to look like EVERY other Camaro out there, with the exact same appearance mods.
- black halos. I thought about these for a while, and getting these is probably my one favorite appearance mod.
- clear corners. Get clear or smoked corners up front, as long as you get that orange away from the rest of the car! Either one goes great with a silver/black theme,
- black wheels/polished lip. It fits with silver Z's so well because the top of the car is black too.
- tint. My car looked awesome with ~20% tint. However, getting a fix-it ticket and living a block from the police station made me remove it. It doesn't look nearly as cool as it used to.
- don't do the berger panel. From everyone I've talked to who isn't a Camaro enthusiast, they think it looks really weird. The usual comment is "it looks like they got hit and couldn't afford to paint it."
- lower it. It'll look a lot better with a lower stance. I went the other way and got ground effects. (I already had the RS side skirts and rear valence, but I went ahead and got a Xenon front piece, which most people here will tell you is rice)

Berger panel, Old-school emblems, billet grill with the blue bow-tie, lowered, tinted, and some nice clean 5-spoke wheels from Fikse. That's where I would start.
I don't know about stripes on a silver Z/28...I haven't seen very many.

If I had a silver Z I would just lower it, tint it, black out the turn signals, and put some nice wheels on it. Then again thats all I really did to mine. As far as hockey stripes go?
