Default Connector repair

Know this isn't "exactly" dealing with programming or anything, but figured the people that frequent this section would be my best bet.

While installing motor mounts, I managed to rip what I think is an exciter wire for the alternator. Is there a clean way to remove the pin in the weather-pack connector so I can solder a new wire to it? There is nothing left of the old wire to solder to.

TIA!

Really small jewelers' screwdriver, and some patience you can get the pin out. If that doesn't work just get a new connector from your local autoparts store.

Unfortunatly, according to "the zone" Autozone... they don't carry that connector and GM wants 27 bucks for it!?

Out of curiosity though, does the connector typically come with wiring so that I can just splice it in?
