Default Cragar Drag Star FYI

I just bought a set of Cragar's version of the Prostar the Drag Star. I also have a full set of Prostars. Side by side they are identical. Only aparent detail is the Dragstars have 5 small allen headed bolts between every lug hole. Fit wise, they actually fit better than the Prostars. I was able to make them fit on the rear with NO grinding using a small (maybe 1/4") spacer. Where as the Prostars with the same spacer needed much grinding to fit. I am speaking of 15X8 with 5.5" BS. Also, the Weld center caps fit in the Cragars as do the lugs. Just thought I would share my findings.

I bought them used. They are hard to find, but are cheaper than Prostars. Check e-bay, Racingjunk and any other boards. They come up.

Not these. These are aluminum. You are talking about Street Stars. Those are chrome steel.

I have Summit Stars and they too look almost indentical but if you look very close my spokes is a little bit wider the Prostars. But considering the price difference I'm not complinaing only thing is I had alot of grinding to do.

They don't offer the right offset for LS1 F-Bodies. May be a good alternative to get the skinnies though.
