getting 4th servo out?

getting 4th servo out? was told that the 4th servo on the external of the trans case could be removed in-car. well i've take out the crossmember bolts and have jacked the front of the engine adn the Sonnax cover wont come off far enough to get out. the servo cover hits the trans tunnel and wont go any further. any ideas on how it's supposed to be done?
