o2 sensor and the U-bend
ok , I've heard that replacing my down pipe on my 5.3 ls4 engine with a stright pipe from Hogan May or may not throw a code from the o2 sensor.
After reading info that an o2sensor works on the hot exhaust gases and also sends info back to go rich or lean and with what one might call an active run signal every milli second.
Question is an open pipe will allow these gasses to flow more freely but why might the o2 sensor throw a code?? is it possible that the gases are cooling down that quickly?
