Hey all - when I originally bought the car almost a year ago, the driver side window didnt work, they put a "new" motor in it, but it always came up/down kind of weird, like it jumped, but I didn't want to waste time taking it back and now it doesn't roll up all the way - theres a gap so when I wash her or it rains it gets in, I tried taking it apart and looking @ the shobox walkthrough but couldn't figure it out ? the bolts didn't line up like in the walkthrough - and the motor is kind of just hanging from the regulator
can anyone in san diego area give me a hand? thanks all!

xpeditious (ivan) is a really good mechanic, he has parts lying all over, you should ask him he helped me troubleshoot a fuel problem.

The first time I ever replaced the window motor in my formula I ended up drilling out all the rivets and had that spring in there almost cut my hand off...... :jest: someone has a sticky on how to do it, if the motor isn`t going bad just follow the sticky and get that sucker in there tight, also make sure none of the rollers came off their tracks on the inside.....

I think they might have - but im not sure - wanted to see if anyone who had done it could take a look at it for me ...i took whole panel off already not sure if motor is not bolted right or what, can't find the 3 holes for the motor like it said, I drilled them out...

i finnaly tightened the bolts up and i noticed my tint was scratched... follow the scratch and it led to the bracket with materiel to prevent it from scratching window... which was broken, there are two of these on the door, but the one on the end of the door is broken.. guess i need a new one - hopefuly some junkyard around here will be willing to sell it - im thinking this wont completely fix my problem since the bolts i tightened up weren't the bolts that were listed in the walkthrough - unless it's still the stock motor? ill take a picture tomorrow morning when im @ work, door is alredy taken apart

The bolts come with the replacememnt motor sometimes, or buy them yourslef, either way use thread sealer to keep em from backing out or use good lock washers. Just remember you'll be replacing the motor again sometime.
