I've done a bunch of searches and I keep getting two answers. I want to put the blue bowtie over my black billet grill.

I want the thinnest version possible too, I don't want it bulging out 3 inches like I've seen some when I was looking through year one.

I take it the correct color pattern is blue inside, chrome ring, black ring, then another last chrome ring right? I've seen some repros that are just blue and a thick black.

Thanks, I know these emblem threads are common but I haven't found a clear answer and don't want to drop $50+ on something that isnt right.

You want the bowtie from a 69 chevelle. The one from the camaro has the wrong contour for our grilles.

i put the camaro bowtie on my grill and it fits fine

I have both the camaro and the chevelle emblems for my grille. I used the chevelle because it fits better. the camaro emblem has too much of a point and sticks out too far. so yeah, CHEVELLE.
