cheaper fix for p1637(plug on alternator)
thru the dealership, its $32-35 for the replacement plug(GM#15306009) thing to plug into the top of the alternator(L circuit, goes to PCM). it sometimes rips out of the connector because of the wiring being pretty tight in there(happened to me). if this breaks, it will not allow ur car to run, or it will die on u goin down the road. if u see the code p1637, fix it.
its $32 from the dealership and they will have to special order it. however i found on Innovative Wiring(sorry its a non sponsor, but couldn't find the same thing on Caspers site, if they have it, ill be glad to edit this to their part) for $6+shipping. its the 4 pin alternator socket on this page. a pretty damn good savings for such a small damn part

Good find man, $6 is a prettu goods deal but its too bad it doesnt come with the wire attached.
I picked one up at the dealer in stock for $20 and it comes with very long wires on it, which is cool.
