User Support & Resources - To the Top?

I created a thread a few days ago and no one has posted in it for a day or two, but its spot has moved upwards on the page. Don't existing threads get pushed down to the bottom with each reply in another thread? Are some threads preserved on a page longer than another by the mods? Just curious.

if you are referring to the thread you started about your 10 bolt surviving, you have a poll in that thread. responding to the poll brings the thread to the top, even if you don't post.
