Default Tinker Performance? Dallas, Tx Anyone Help!!!

My friend installed a New Ls1 in my Camaro for me after i threw a rod through my oil pan, I recieved the car not knowing anything about the motor, he lives in Sulphur Springs, Tx and im in Abilene, Tx....So after i got the car back and drove it, i opened the hood to see what engine was installed, its a 01-04 Ls1, 241 Heads, Ls6 intake...ect...I didnt run the block castings, havent had time, well i asked him where the engine came from? He replied said a place in dallas called Tinker? He told me they disassemble the engine, and replace the sleeves, and the rings...And mark all the engine componets with a T. Is this some kind of performance engine? It pulls really hard, and runs much stronger than my 01 ss...If anyone knows anything about it please let me know. Thanks

I live here in DFW and am real big into the LSX scene. never heard of them bro.

Theres a guy on the board with the name Tinkrd. He could have sold your buddy this motor to put in your car. It was a forged 347 he had.
