Edelbrock castings. Untouched intake and exhaust ports(other than what was done by edelbrock). Very slight bowl blend. Edelbrock valvetrain right down to the plastic retainers. 175 pounds on the seat, well under 300 pounds at 550 lift(valvefloat from hell). Flow numbers found below. Guess which sponsor sold me these?????

By the way, those are the tiny edelbrock valves as part of their "competition valve job". They are now getting redone by another sponsor with 2.08 and 1.6 valves, should flow over 300 cfm for about 1600 bucks.

That is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to garbage!!! The entire motor is junk! Right down to the cast factory 2 bolt main caps that were holding my supposedly indestructable motor together. All I was able to salvage from that junk motor was the crank(must be repolished), block(must be honed a few thousandths to clean up the cylinders), and the rods that need to be reconditioned. I spent over 11000 bucks for "a motor that runs very strong on motor, that I can spray the hell out of", and I got pile of mismatched crap with SRP pistons(will not hold up to spray), 8.6 to 1 compression with the heads. By the way the deck height was -.023", that sure helps with compression doesnt it. Look up a few of my past threads and youll see who built that pile for me.

Wow .. that sucks man
I hope the work you are having done to them improves those flow numbers.
That port job doesn't look complete at all.
Keeping in mind that flowbench numbers are not everything,
these are my LE2 flow numbers for comparisson.

I beleive his more recent work gets even better numbers.

Hell no, ET Performance is fixing my heads!! The guys at ET are awesome, I would very highly recommend them to anybody. I paid 11000 to put 286 HP to the tires from the original builder. It put down 260 on basic boltons. This time around I should be putting around 500 to the tires, with about 7500 into the motor, either selling or scrapping almost the entire motor from the other company. Check out my past posts, youll figure out who it was.
