I was curious to know what does it take to get the motor in there,
also what headers, mounts,were the best choice
my plan was to carb it, and run an auto trans. I already have a turbo 400

youll need a hoist and some money to get the engine in.... everything can be bought.. ooo ooo, also try a search. theres a big thread on this subject with SOO much info in it.

I'm about $6000-7000 for 5.3 into my s10 reusing transmission from s10 with shift kit/corvette servo. The main expenses were wiring, computer, and stuff to do the camshaft. Since you are doing a carbed setup I'd say $3000 would be reasonable.
