Default AS PROMISED: Mongoose pictures 56k beware

I finally got to see my car in person with her new paint. The sun was out so I tried to snap some pictures, but, go figure, once I got her battery jumpstarted, the clouds had rolled in. :sillyme:

I think this is the first post that was a legit 56k beware, that **** just kept scrolling.

Ever consider CAMARO inserts on the black berger panel?

Thanks guys! On the inserts, I'd have to see what they looked like, but probably not. The SS badge is missing off the rear, but I didn't have time to drive her beyond the driveway there on this trip, so the body shop ordered the new one, and next time I get her out I'll have them apply it.

Sharp ride, ...,
I think the mirrors should be body-colored tho.
Manta stripe & the grill look good together!

I really like the smooth grill. Is that an RKSport before they indented their logo?

Looks awesome aside from the black side view mirrors. Wheels would really set it off too. Its coming along nicely though. Gorgeous car.

I actually had a buddy pshop your car so I could see how the stripes would look on a white SS before doing it.

Wheels and complete suspension will be done when I finally move back home. I almost ordered a set of CCW's, but decided against having new rims/rubber sitting indefinitely while I'm gone.

Thanks. That's the Wings West grill. I stole the idea from DVST8OR with his silver SS.

Thanks! The mirrors I've always loved in black, especially with my windows having limo tint on them. The whole top of the car being black just kinda flowed. But now I'm really thinking about having them repainted in white when I take her out next.

To everybody suggesting black wheels....

I've always HATED black wheels. I HAVE seen a few nice black cars with polished lip/black wheels that looked decent. But I can't for the life of me picture anything in black on mine that I'd like.

BUT...

if anybody wants to submit any photoshop options for consideration, I'll definitely take a look!

Stay FAR away from black rims. Spray your rims black with a rattlecan, you won't be able to tell the difference and you'll save lots of money lol. Looks good, just don't like the black mirrors.

Thanks! My goal is to have one of the nicest f-bodies, that is NOT a garage queen. She'll be driven on nice days, but my goal for her is to be raced, dragstrip, auto-x, road course, tracks, etc.

But with all the gorgeous SOM and black cars out there, it may be hard to get a white car to stand out.

get some air in those back tires, they look really low, or atleast the back right if you are standing behind the car. The paint job looks very nice, I like the little white outline in the rear panel letters (or maybe its just me but it looks like it in the last few pics of the back).
