Default LS-7 Main Bearing Clearance

Someone told me of LS-7 crate motors that spun the center main shortly after install. He later showed me one with the bearing seized to the journal.
He says I should open up my unfired motor to check clearance on mains.

Does anyone know of this happening and have experience. How is warranty
situation as time can go by from purchase to fire up & drive. Anyone from the general out there.

Default

i have a crate motor in my cts v. I had to change the ruluctor ring which required me removing the crank. the bearings looked OK, not great, looks like a dry start. I reinstalled them with oil, and been running fine for about 6000 miles good pressure and such. I don't know of any one spinning one on start, but I guess it is possible if It doesnt start right away.
