passenger airbag removal

Default passenger airbag removal

does any one know if there is a kit you can buy to replace the passenger side air area. i have a 2k trans am

waht do you mean? Did your deploy and you need a new one? or you want to remove it but not the air bag cover?

sorry i want to remove the passenger side air bag i removed my driver air bag already and put a momo on it

but i would like to still keep orginal cover over air bag if possible

The cover and the bag are not connected. The bag can be removed without the cover being removed, but I'm not sure it can be done without removing the dash.

You have to remove the dash to remove the passenger airbag. Unless the bag has already been deployed through the dash, then you can get to it. The airbag breaks through the fiberglass dash when it goes off.

luckily it hasn't but i'll have my shop do it i thought there might be a kit out there but thats cool thanks for the info.
