Default Quick question on pushrod length, need quick answer

First of all, thanks in advance for the help.

My buddy is intalling a GM ASA cam w/ specs 228/236 .525 .525 110 lsa, he is also installing stock unmilled 243 heads. Question is, are the stock 7.4 pushrods ok or does he need a different length. We have found a few diff. answers, some say stockers are fine, and one guy says we need to use a 7.425. I need a definitive answer please, looking to buy these today!
Once again, thanks!

Stockers Are Fine, 7.425 Will Give You Added Preload If Needed.

7.4's are too short, you can use them but your prelaod will be jacked up. Its your call whether or not you want it done right.
