WS6 Highway Patrol car???? I saw a '98+ WS6 trans am Arkansas Highway Patrol car yesterday...I've never even heard of one...only the b4c camaros....it was freakin sweet

I was pulled over by one.....highway patrol, except it was a camaro.
I was doing 110 and he came flying up on me outta the darkness at 3AM.
There was no one else out on the highway but him; pulled over with lights off. I was honest with him, and believe it or not he let me go on a warning!!

Am I the only one pissed that tax $ is used for what is more or less a visual upgrade? If it's the trooper's car or a drug car or something that a totally different story. As cool as the car is, it seems a total waste of $ as a stripper Formula would have done just as well. If people want to spend their $ on that, that's fine, I bought an SS. But if the state is doing it I wouldn't be too happy.

local PD by me has a TA squad car.. it was seized in a drug raid and they use the car for the DARE program stuff and special events as well as the ocasional patrol duty.

I'm a student at purdue too and I can say, that WS6 patrol car looks very cool. Apparently at one point their drivers side headlight motor didn't work as you can see down below, but when I saw it this last semester it was fine. Nice car though.... Black/Gold looks cool on it
