Default Any Dash Mounted Information Displays?

Hey guys, I have been looking for something that can mount in my dash, and will be able to tell me information on the car. I have two 2001 cars, so year isn't an issue at all. I have a laptop, and I could buy HPTuners if I really needed, but I was looking for something that I could just monitor easily without having to have a laptop in the car at all times.

If you guys know of any other alternatives that would work for what I want, I am open to hear them. I am not looking to spend around what I would for HPTuners, so I would like to stay in the $300 range. (more or less)

Thanks guys. I am mainly worried about reading codes, deleting them, and monitoring tranny temps.

That is actually what gave me the idea, but it wont work for F-bodies. Otherwise I would have to have one. It seems to be exactly what I want, and at the price I wanted too.

If ONLY that read Transmission Temperature! Damn it! haha, that looks perfect too. There has to be something out there, I may just have to buy a hand held tuner or something along those lines.

BINGO! That is perfect! Thanks for the suggestion. This will work on the SS and the TA. What does everyone think about the DiabloSport tuner?

dashhawk only works on CAN vehicles, the f-cars use VPW for the communications

I hope you have better luck getting a set of Interceptor gauges. I am not sure if the company is in trouble or something, but the GM stuff has been listed as "on backorder until March 21st" since at least Feb. I have sent in several e-mails, and all came back with the same "should be next week" type response.

Is there any other systems of this type out there?
