Whats the difference: spool, true-trac, detroit locker?

Default Whats the difference: spool, true-trac, detroit locker?

Whats the difference between these differentials for a 9 inch? How do they act on the track and how do they act (most importantly) on the street? i guess this is common knowledge because i couldnt find anything searching

I'd run a spool over a locker. The tru trac acts like a normal posi, whereas the spool will keep the wheels always locked, so turns and parking lots won't be your friend. Unless you're over 600hp I'd go tru trac over a spool for a street car.

tru trac is closest to a torsen like u had stock
