Default Removed Air Pump and now the car runs rich.

I removed the air pump since I am running long tube race headers. Now the car runs extremely rich and will not stay running. I reinstalled the air pump and it is still doing the same thing. Has anyone ever experienced this problem?

I am going to try and get the codes tomorrow. It is almost like the computer is reset. It runs just like it did when I replaced the injectors with 42# and had to move the car on the old tune. It is smoking like crazy now and when I try to give it alot of throttle it bogs out. I pulled the plugs and they are black.

Some headers reposition the 02 sensors farther back down the tubes. They may read different than stock. Mine throws codes for insufficient 02 activity because they are not as hot since they are farther from the port. Hope this helps.
