mods are in sig but im looking for a cam that will get me into the 11's on motor w/ stock heads and be able to sound as stock as possible. i was thinking something along the lines of a 231/240, .643/.608 112+4
anyone have any other suggestions?

Something like a 228/232, would do the trick.

Hahah....yeah You Have Expect Changes With Most Mods, Even The Lid Makes Our Cars Louder. Not To Jump On Your Thread, But Im Sure You Might Want To Let Them Realize, It Looks Like Its An A4, Which Makes A Difference In Cam Selection. Hopefully The Guys Take That Into Consideration When Chiming In, Because I Want To Know As Well.

if you want "stock like sound" and killer performance...than you better step up and get heads along with the cam.

any of the stealth cams and a good set of heads should get the job done. more money...but if you really want stock sound...thats the price to pay

You want a street friendly stock sounding cam that gets good gas mileage and makes enough power on your stock heads to push you into the 11's?

Oh yes, and gas mileage?

it wont be possible to get a stock sound with running 11's in the qtr. even the cheater at 116/117 lsa will sound just a tad lopey then stock vet. sound from duration and lift will be noticeable from a trained ear.

Getting into the 11's is going to have more to do with your suspension and gearing if your not going to use a power add. Some MT's and maybe a lite drag wheel as well. You have a wish list in you sig and thats about right. Talk to the drag guys in the drag section to get a serious look into what it really takes to run 11's on a small cam.

hell yeah a little weight reduction and the right size stall and tires and you are there SI...i mean i did it on manifolds...you will be fine with a cam that adds around 35 more hp...my car will run solid high 11's on a normal da day...dont see what you have to worry about especially if you are planning on the 4000 stall...

i mean my setup isn't even max effort...
